$15/class for a 10 week session ($150 total)

This is a course designed for the beginning adult avocational singer. If you love singing along to the radio, in a choir, or have always wanted to take voice lessons but have never taken the leap, this class is for you!
Each week we will discuss a different aspect of the art of singing, followed by practical application of the skills learned in class. Topics will include breath to pitch relationship, body awareness, balance, psychology in singing, tone, pitch, sympathetic vibrations of sound, and singing as meditation. Students will learn three group songs and work on applying the concepts learned in class, and will have the opportunity to prepare a song to practice performing in a safe, friendly, and student-oriented learning environment.
